Description
A song about the stupidity of man in general, me in particular, temptation, death, redemption. Hmm, seems to be biblical in nature.

Lyrics
I was walking down the road when I thought I heard a sound
And it sounded like thunder and desire
Sometimes it seems like I'm going in the wrong direction
And sometimes I don't know what that means
Now patience is not my virtue, there is a dark side of me
But nothing can take the place, of being so healthy and free
The evil that you do it lives after you
And the good often goes in the grave
But the journey down the road doesn't come with a map
And it's easy to take a wrong turn
Open up your eyes, see the beauty all around
Life can be so sacred, a place no religion ever found
And it sounded like thunder and desire
Sometimes it seems like I'm going in the wrong direction
And sometimes I don't know what that means
Now patience is not my virtue, there is a dark side of me
But nothing can take the place, of being so healthy and free
The evil that you do it lives after you
And the good often goes in the grave
But the journey down the road doesn't come with a map
And it's easy to take a wrong turn
Open up your eyes, see the beauty all around
Life can be so sacred, a place no religion ever found

philosophical piece. I really like your leads in this. Also your synth string
work is evocative and supportive of the over-all theme. I'd love to hear a
full rock band version of this tune. It is potentially powerful.
Be well!
