Description:
This one is dedicated to all the iComp & Macjams Guitar Greats..and You Know who You are.. You guys amaze me every time..Thank You

Well here is one of my HOTROD HEROs. Jeff Beck this guy got as many hotrods as he has guitars..

This is a pic with his "American Graffiti" clone.. Deuce 5 window

I shouldnt be even trying to do his style..Im not worth of any guitar noise...so please excuse my butcher style of his work..

......no guitars or small animals where hurt in making this tune..

I am amazed at what great music that is being made with garageband..I feel humble to be on the site with such great work..I found my place to listen to great music..and not what the record company's throw in our face.. thanks everyone here enjoy..

thanks ... woodie...enjoy

Pretty darned tasty &mdash 03/10/06 - 09:24:50 AM
Hey, that's some nice licks you got there... for somebody so apologetic :-)
My only critique is that in some spots (2/3 in), the high pitched synth
that's slightly to the right is a little tinny and piercing, needs some EQ to
soften it I think. But the low growly surf-guitar sound, the other elements
that waft in and out, and the overall piece itself is quite engaging and
enjoyable to listen to. Cool!

Drakonis

Cool &mdash 03/10/06 - 10:37:45 AM
You did manage to cop a bit of Jeff's whammy bar phrasing. No small feat. This is a well recorded tune. I like the synth parts. They have a vocal quality to them. You guitar part is understated and effective. I saw Jeff Beck and Jan Hammer in 1978 at SMU Moody Coloseum in Dallas TX. I have yet to see a better master of the fender strat then Jeff. He opened up with Freeway Jam and I was blown away.

Nice playing &mdash 03/10/06 - 11:13:32 AM
I didn't realize Beck was into cars so much... I suppose "Guitar Shop" should've given me a clue. I like your guitar playing in here, very expressive and there's a cool mood to the song.
