Description
I think this turned out pretty well - but that's for you all to judge. For once, I used GarageBand as more than just a simple mixing device. I really do appreciate all feedback, positive and negative - please give me lots of it!

Lyrics
In those halcyon days, I was in a daze, stoned and strung out of my mind.
A masters degree and a PhD, flipping burgers on the side. You appeared like a ghost, pouring, souring through me, I didn't even know you were there. Pale, white skin and peroxide hair, I didn't even know you were there. We used to walk along the beach, atop the searing sand. We were just two microscopic dots upon the land. And life was pretty. And life was good. Happiness was innocence, I never understood. Hamburger stands and rock 'n roll bands, young and American. Pretty soon I'll be a married man, voting Republican. From the Jersey Shore to Baltimore, we quickly found our way. I got cold feet, began my retreat on our wedding day. Oh Suzie Q. Oh Jennie Lee. Happiness was innocence, it's all the same to me.

The singing gets better as it goes along. I hate to see a song with no comments.
Nice little rocker. Thanks.
