Description:
Another quick acoustic Sunday song...was gonna add an acoustic guitar solo but LE7 had other ideas! Might sound nice with a violin (KK if you are listening?)

Lyrics:
I am looking for a mystery
to set my life on track
Take the train, there's no shame
and no painful looking back

Just enjoying the ride
But did I tell you, you were the one?

I'm enjoying the scenery
the towns that pass on by
but I have no destination
and I feel like I need to fly

Just enjoying the ride
But did I tell you, you were the one?

And did I think you were the one?

Great! &mdash 03/12/06 - 09:37:15 AM
Im having a break at work now, listening to your latest tune Stephen. I think it saved my day here. very beautiful! It sounds a bit like your playing and singin in a bit different style then you usually do. Abyway, i just love this piece, its sooths the soul of a hungover drunk at work. Its clever that the song ends, and return with a little solo! It sounds very good. Your playing has always impressed me, Every one of these acoustic numbers impresses me! It seems like your voice is getting better and better as well. I love it, another download and a fave!

Feel good music &mdash 03/12/06 - 11:55:44 AM
This would be my first comment as a new member here. As I get older I
find myself gravitating to this style of music. Although I have several
electric guitars, I seem to spend most of my time with my accoustics.
This song just sounds wonderful. It puts your mind at ease, makes you
feel good. You give me something to strive for in my playing.

Steve,

Acoustic guitar sounds exceptionally sweet on this one. Really dig the
overall sound! Nice one!

Sunday goodness &mdash 03/12/06 - 01:08:01 PM
A nice toon for a warm, sunny Sunday when everything seems to just last
forever. Very nice. It would sound great with some violin.

Makin' em' crazy again &mdash 03/13/06 - 06:53:19 AM
Very nicely set, perfect for you voice, sweet and easy. Not sure why the
tag at the end. Yes, a violin would sound great. I like the intimacy of the
sound. An interesting combination of free spirit and commitment,
enough to make some women go crazy. (A friend of mine who is 47 and
newly divorced, and entering the dating scene again, were just having a
similar conversation...)

Really Nice ! &mdash 03/13/06 - 01:31:16 PM
Excellant playing and singing. The lyrics have just enough ambiguity to them. A violen would have been nice, but it works great just as it is.

Hey Bro I'm listening! &mdash 03/14/06 - 06:18:45 AM
... sounds like it's in one of those funny keys you guitarists favour but I'll
have a shot. By the way this is a fabulous pop song - that chorus has a
killer hook!

Cheers KK, yes if you fancy adding some violin I would love to hear it...not sure
what key its in actually..in fact there is a key change in there too I think. I play
with
a capo on the 5th fret so its a whole other ballgame with the fiddle I guess!
Thanks for your comments!

You're a gifted singer. Great depth in your voice. You carry those lyrics straight to the soul. Very cool guitar picking. I like the laid back, effortless approach to your music.

Nice job. Bravo!
