Description:
A bit of a change from my recent uploads and an attempt to play a bit of slap bass on the bass I bought a few months back. Not sure if FUNK is the most appropriate catagory for this but here goes ....

fender strat
vintage V940B bass guitar
griffin i-mic usb interface

A traveling tune! I agree with the Rev... like ambient funk. Your guitar playing is smooth and fluid, and the bass appropriately snappy. My only issue is the lack of bass under the soloing... I can hear a restrained slap or a fingerstyle line to hold it down while the guitar rips... [ Reply to This ]

The world definitely needs more slap bass! Great sound and nice chops.
Takes me back to Stanley Clarke, Level 42 and all those guys.
