Description:
i've been creating folk-style music for so long now, i finally decided to try my hand at this electronic sound all the kids are into.

seriously, my goal is to experiment and get to understand the way this genre works and possibly try to collaborate the folk-style genre with the downtempo to come up with something unique.

PLIG IT is the first. and if you're curious, the song title is actually a name. i'll let you figure what name it is.

Lyrics:
Plig it.

Well, Piglit isn't normally spelled this way, so I'll guess that you were
doing some underwater recording with a parrot fish, and decided to write
a song about its gil tip. Do I win the Robin Williams' autographed iPod
Nano Nano?

This was indeed a departure for you, but a fun short little ditty it turned
out to be. Simple, but nice choice of instruments and fly-by samples. Be
sure to stop on by the electronica offramp again sometime.

ttfn,
Drakonis

Surprized... &mdash 03/13/06 - 12:15:49 PM
to hear the Bull do a piece like this. Not bad though. It's a lot of fun (and a
lot of work) experimenting with other genres. I'm lousy at puzzles, so I'll
pass on the "solve the mystery of the title" invite. But I do like the tune.

Who am I to say? &mdash 03/14/06 - 05:14:57 AM
I'm not too good with the electronic stuff either... but I hear something in
this... vocals maybe- some folk style or acoustic guitar. Downloaded to
see if I can make some sense of it all!

Firstly... &mdash 03/16/06 - 02:23:50 PM
Thanks for checking out my track and leaving feedback. I'm glad to
have put all that behind us. Secondly, for someone who doesn't mess
with electronica you sure could have fooled me. As for mixing what
you know with electronica, there are a few well established artist you
may want to give a listen to, especially Four Tet and Manitoba (formerly
known as Caribou). They have branded this sound as "Folktronica".
Here is a link if this is truly something that interest you or if you think

I try to mix all my favorite Genres into one sound and it seems to working well. I think you've acomplished your mission. This sounds great. It roles on barly changing and it rocks the house. I got lost for a while. Props.

throw it in the mix! &mdash 04/04/06 - 05:07:18 AM
a simple but not simplistic melody played with a airy and tasteful tone is
just the right thing for the libidinous beats.
