Songs auf Deutsch findet man nicht so oft hier. Der song hat definitiv einen
Dylan flair, was auf jeden Fall gut ist fuer diese genre. Der Gesang ging leider etwas unter in dem Mix. Ich wuerde auf jeden Fall den Gesang etwas
mehr nach vorne bringen. Waere auch schoen wenn man die Worte lesen
koennte waehrend man zuhoert. Alles in allem ein nettes Lied in dem "Acoustic Rock" Bereich, das aber durchaus auch in dem "Folk" Genre
zuhause waere. Macht nur weiter so.

I really dig the grove set up by the acoustic, drums and bass guitar, but
the constant pitch bending of the twangy instrument (that sound so
sampled and cartoony) takes away from the warm hip feel of the track. I
wonder what to would sound like without that instrument and perhaps a
lead acoustic played that tastefully fills and things? Maybe you can ask
katchoolik? (Good call placing this under Acoustic Rock.) Otherwise, I
like the feel.

I like the mix and feel like I can hear the vocals just fine. I have to agree with Tobin, though, that the constant twanging throughout the song doesn't really work for me. I could see using this at some point in the song for effect, but not throughout the entire song--it loses it's impact by being there all the time and instead kind of gets in the way...

Overall, though, an incredibly professional sounding mix and mastering job--I wish I could figure out how to get such a great sound with GB!
