Whooo, fantastic production! Love the layers and soundscape! There are
some really fascinating effects in here weaving in and out. Love the
energy... and the artwork!

Good good! &mdash 03/19/06 - 01:40:06 PM
It never gets boring, its got plenty of variation. Its like seeing the Knight Rider tv show after years of Mork & Mindy. I demand more Drum n Bass, this sounds wicked!

I took offense at the stolen artwork. Please respect copyright. Not your
art, shame on you.

I also found the track boring. It got tedious about a fifth of the way in.
It's too repetitious and uninspired. I've found more exciting
soundtracks to video games.

Not sure how much is played and how much loops, but the whole thing
feels thrown together. I had a hard time making it to the end. I did
manage, but only because your constant demand for attention in the
chats demanded I listen.

Yawn. And, yes, yawn again.

I could imagine myself not being upset while this played during the
first level of a video game, but I am used to Rob Zombie playing while I
do, so don't get the point of this one.

I am sure this will get me a retaliatory comment and vote, I just ask you
have enough guts to sign your vote and to spend as much time writing
your review as I did.

Yes . I'm SORRY if the art work was stolen. It was email to me by a friend , he
said it was cool to use . If you didn't like the track why did you listen to all of
it? and vote on it ? i dont get it! and you think i will comment on your music ?
DONT WORRY ABOUT THAT....Im not like that. But thanks anyway....GHOST

I listened all the way through and gave honest scores because I told you I would.
You posted in the forums, during the Virtual Garage show so many times that it
was impossible to ignore. You were asked to stop and didn't.

I couldn't have been fair without listening all the way through. I'm not here to
coddle. If you want a note to hang on you fridge, play the song for your mom.

the arrogance here at MJ gets wonderfully juicy.......... nothing like the king of great taste dissin' your choice of musicality....... there is honesty, and then there is tact. the artwork was a giger picture/sculpture......... whats the fucking harm? i personally dug the track....... oh yeah, i forgot...... i probably suck for not agreeing with the bloody pastryman.

You see nothing wrong with stealing and I am the ignorant one?

Artists live off their work. If you're not going to support them, they do
something else.

And the point being missed here is he begged for the criticism. He posted
this track in the forums probably a hundred times in an hour, even after
people asked him to stop, I said he did it again I'd listen and give him an
honest opinion. I stand by my scores and what I wrote.

I'd rather have truth than tact. And no, I am not the arbiter of taste, nor am I
claiming to be. It was a tedious song that was about average.

I didn't "diss" his choice of music, but this specific track. And I didn't rate it low
either. I found it mostly average, which is what I rated it. You can like it, as is
your right, I'm not dictating what people think.

And I find it humorous that people who demand copyright protection won't
respect it in others. Stealing a copyrighted image is the same as stealing a song.
Giger is not releasing his work into the public domain. He didn't even get credit
in the original post.

Drum n bass &mdash 03/20/06 - 10:33:43 PM
Not too bad for drum n bass genre. Lots of liquid bumps and jabs here. Does get a repetitve, but I guess that's the ostinato role that bass and drum usually play. Get a deep backbeat going, float in some synths and trippy voice segments, and you'll have something more compelling.

Nice production &mdash 04/21/06 - 10:39:12 PM
Sounds very spacious, and I like the way the sounds evolve and liquify. Ignore the pastyman, looks like he had a bad batch of meth that week. I'd like to see an abstract hyper animation to go with this.
