Description
This is the first song I created in Garageband! This was painstakenly created note for note, because I lack the ability to play any instruments. I know it is short for a classical composition, this is still a work in progress, so all comments are welcome. I hope you enjoy it!

Great first entry
Very pleasant to listen to. Made me smile. I'm interested, though. You
said you made it note for note. Does that mean that the solo piano is not
a loop? You inputed the notes?

Interested to hear how you accomplished this. Thanks for posting, and

Great first entry
Thanks! Yes, the notes were inputed one by one, all software instruments. No
pre-made loops were used, every note was from my heart!

Good job
For someone who doesn't play an instrument, you certainly have a great sense of composition. You must be an avid music listener.

Nice overall structure to the piece.

The next step for you would be to play around with the dynamics and make the piece more natural sounding.

I am curious as well, were any loops used?

Very fine!
You have created a very nice tapestry of notes. You have a nice melodic
theme going. Nice interplay of bass, piano and horn. The song works
for me. I would try to vary or "humanize" some of the timing. Maybe
vary the ostinato bass line more so it doesn't get to be too repetitive.
That would help to reduce the "oom-pa-pa" polka feeling. Overall, a
very fine start!

Impressed
I am impressed that you create something as good as this without
playing an instrument. Nice work and thanks for sharing
