Description
I've worked on this song on and off for a while. I finally got up the courage to sing on it, so please take the fact that I am not a singer into consideration if rating me :(

Lyrics
[Verse 1]
I'm living in the city
I see people walking by
But I never know their names
Don't want to know their names
I smile as I greet them
But I don’t want to meet them
Some things may never change
And I will never change
And you don’t know what it's like to be me
And you don’t realize who it is when you see me
[Verse 2]
I see the look in your eyes
I admire, the way you think of me
But I don't feel the same
I'll never feel the same
There is a time once in a while
When I see the face behind the smile
And that's what makes it strange
And I never want to change
[Bridge]
Some people are living this life with their eyes shut
(Maybe)
I should look at life through their eyes but I won’t budge
Baby!
I'm living in the city
I see people walking by
But I never know their names
Don't want to know their names
I smile as I greet them
But I don’t want to meet them
Some things may never change
And I will never change
And you don’t know what it's like to be me
And you don’t realize who it is when you see me
[Verse 2]
I see the look in your eyes
I admire, the way you think of me
But I don't feel the same
I'll never feel the same
There is a time once in a while
When I see the face behind the smile
And that's what makes it strange
And I never want to change
[Bridge]
Some people are living this life with their eyes shut
(Maybe)
I should look at life through their eyes but I won’t budge
Baby!

I liked this little ditty. It's got attitude. Your singing is quite appropriate for the song.
It has the sound of a (literal) garage band. Youthful and exuberant, if not a little arrogant - in a good way.
it could have rocked out even more at the end. It finished in a more subdued way.
