Beautiful Soundbed &mdash 03/20/06 - 09:26:13 PM
You've created a lovely foundation for a song, James. Very emotional and evocative.

It however needs lyrics and vocals to be complete. It did lack a melodic through-line to keep my focus.

The bass after the drums come in was a little too forward for my taste.

Otherwise, nice job.

Beautiful Soundbed &mdash 03/21/06 - 09:14:39 AM
Thanks for listening. The thing I think I'm going to add to my main profile now
is that all of these are mostly just foundations for songs that I plan evolve later
on in the year when I've sorted out a new band. I will keep in mind what you said
though, thanks.

Enjoyed Parts 1 and 2 &mdash 03/21/06 - 06:16:29 AM
I'm curious as to why you split the two tracks.

Enjoyed Parts 1 and 2 &mdash 03/21/06 - 09:17:17 AM
Ah a few people have asked that of me and I'm not 100 percent sure why I've
done it. I have thought about a part 3 that mixes elements of both to round
things off but I'm not sure. Glad you enjoyed them and thanks for listening.

Good song &mdash 03/21/06 - 10:49:25 AM
I would like to see it develop quicker as an instrumental. with lyrics this may not be a problem. on that note, i await a version with words, should be interesting. overall, a moody alt feel, tight throughout, good playing.

Great ballad-like sketch &mdash 03/23/06 - 02:29:12 PM
I really like the chords in this... it feels like it could build slowly into a
huge song... this seems to have a lot of potential. The various
instruments were a little rough but I could hear a really good structure
unnder this for a monumental work. Of course in my mind, I'm hearing
the song build dramatically at the end to a full orchestra... but that's just
me :-)

Drakonis
