Description:
Well....ummm......a couple years back I made my first GB creation. It's called "Alone." Last week, I decided to re-produce that first track, now that I am (hopefully) a little better at it. In the re-produced version, called "Alone (Again '06)", I carefully added and disguised a rock guitar during the key change, which I thought was really cool. Long story shorter, after a little push from etgilles, I decided to make a total rock version of the same track. Here it is. I'm just pushing my safe boundaries. GB only. Loops only.

Loops only?
Pretty good use of them, I'd say. This song has a good pulse and
production sounds very good but still, it's missing something. I think this
could be a good backdrop for a vocal or even a rap... or a screaming
guitar solo.

Very creative and well done.

Nice track!
I thought the production was great! Nice use of loops. Like aclarke
mentioned, I think it needs vocals to really bring it out. Overall, exellent
tune!

Nicely arranged
Good job on using those loops.

I do agree with the comments above about the tune needing something. Without a melody floating over top, it did get a little repetitive and boring for me. I hear a female voice, ethereally aahing on top of the good foundation you've built.

Really like the key change.

What, How,..
How did you get such a good rock/jazz sound out of GarageBand loops. I have tried to do a decent rock song with loops forever without success. Great and amazing work. This would sound good on a Miami Vice episode or another 80's 90's show.
