Description:
This is an updated version to my recent post. This is a collaboration using KCSAITO's open collaboration blue piano post, TELL ME YOUR BLUES.

After rtcooper's constructive comments, I discovered that the channel separation was lost on the music segment of this tune.

Here's the tune with better stereo quality.

On behalf of RCANDREWS and KCSAITO let me say thanks for all the wonderful and helpful comments.

Collaborators:
rcandrews - vocals
kscaito - piano
scorp - guitars/bass/GB drums

Sittin' in the Front Row &mdash 03/20/06 - 03:49:06 PM
It's a Full House Sound, in this Mix, and virtuosity reigns, to the man.

The guitar is, perhaps, leaving the 88's a touch lonely during that solo,
but I presume that is undue modesty on the part of the Engineer/
Guitarist, or a product of dynamic hearing loss in this listener.

This is Top Shelf, Boys, Top Shelf. And Thanks for Filiing up the Stage!

Very Best Regards,
Cooperr

Es como "Deja vou", compadre &mdash 03/20/06 - 06:14:26 PM
I gotta get some 'dem ears like Coop's to hear all the improvement ("Drivin me crazy talkin bout to da point i can't see"), but that dude does know his stuff. The instruments did seem more forefront in this mix. I still enjoyed it all over again the same way or better, called me back to Dat ol' Blue Lite zone all over again.

Thanks Scorp, RC, KC, (RT) Loved it!

Yeah, man. I focused more on the audio levels and tying everthing together and overlooked channel separation before posting the original. My bad. Glad to have folks like y'all to help a fellow member out.

Thanks for giving it another listen, H:)

RC gets around &mdash 03/20/06 - 07:34:24 PM
Just heard him on Jim Bs tune as well.
You''ll have to charge RC!

Nice blues here. RC' s textured voice is fun to hear. He sure has a classic
country blues type voice without question.

Thanks, Bill. We appreciate your support on this project.

Hey, I checked out your collab with perpetualvortex. What a great combo. I like the drums behind your music. Sounds good. I hope to hear more like that.

Keep them coming!

Thanks for giving it another listen, McB.

Hey man, the Berks Jazz Fest is well under way up here. Larry Carton is here with his Sapphire Blues Band and will also be performing with that monster guitar lineup for the Tribute to Wes Montgomery, this Sunday night. I read that this particular show will be video taped and made into a DVD.

I'll keep you posted.

Gruff and gritty voice. Crying guitar. Melancholy piano. Top shelf blues on
MJ!

Thanks, AC, for the kind words.

Glad you took the time to listen and comment. RC has a winner with his song and story. kcsaito's piano post really brought some fruit to bear with this particular collaboration.

Thanks, again!

Nice Blues Tune!! &mdash 03/23/06 - 09:01:50 PM
Good stuff here!! I like it. Mix was excellent. I noticed the guitar volume
dropped a little more than the original version (I think coop mentioned
this) Thanks for posting the tune!!

New Orleans sound &mdash 03/26/06 - 07:57:10 AM
Sounds like New Orleans to me! I can hear Leon Redbone or Dr. John
performing this tune. Production is first-rate. Vocals are especially
evocative of Mr. Redbone, who I used to enjoy a lot on Saturday Night
Live back in the 70s.

Guitar solo is very emotional and cuts right to the heart.

Great blues piano! Is that you, Scorp?

OK, after the piano solo, the singer now sings like the Chicago blues
band singer in the movie "Adventures In Babysitting." And that's a
compliment!

Nice job, guys. I'm feelin' blue, and happy too, to hear such good
stuff.

New Orleans sound &mdash 03/26/06 - 09:06:40 AM
Thanks so much, John.

I just edited this page, saying that it's a tune wrapped around pianist, KCSAITO's blues piano post.

This was a fun project and such a cool story shared by Rob. I'm flattered that Rob chose me to help him with it.

Thanks for checking it out and commenting.

Outstanding &mdash 04/08/06 - 04:40:43 AM
Man, you really got it goin on. I dont understnad why theres all the talkin,
though? Is this from a radio show or somthing? The best part is the
guitar playin. Man, I'm lovin that. The pinao is real good too, but it
seems kind of clean or somthing compared to the dirty guitar playing.
The vocals is okay, but they sound a little liek someone trying to sound
like someone else.
