nice vibe.
this is cool.

it's definitely got an old school spy/action hero vibe to it.

digging the horns and the building dissonance.

the guitar sounds fine - don't get a better one to please us! get it for
yourself if you want one.

i'm not sure what i could suggest... sounds pretty good to me.

Ya, rockin shiz
LOL I had this picture of Batman doing the Pee Wee Herman Dance! Then James Bond on the horns. Definitely cool as is. Do I have permission to use it if I ever do a chase scene in film?

good trax
the rythem section is solid and well mixed... the guitar part sit in the
mix well... but the horns are not placed in there proper place for my
ears... they are flat, one dimentional, I don;t think it is a panning issue
as much as a depth issue... some verb or delay.... and then make sure
the horns are played in time, cause the rest of the track is so tight

can i ask how you got that bass sound.... it's great... what was your
signal path

thanx; scott

Bass interests
Boss sound. I'm tracking with this. Trumpets are a little late. Slide them
to the left a bit and add some reverb to them. Dig it. Maybe some lyrics
about superheroes jumping off the cereal box and dancing on your
kitchen table while eating breakfast.

Bass interests
[chorus]
When the oatmeal's hot, pour on the milk.
When the fruit is ripe, pick it.
Jam on the bread, butter on the toast.
What's the cereal we like most?

[verse 1 - with pre-pubescent Robin vox]
"Batman Rocks! Batman Rocks!
In the dark black box with the shiny foil.
Batmobile racin' up and down the spine.
Into the cave, into your mouth!
28 vitamins with every bite!"

[chorus]
When the oatmeal's hot, pour on the milk.
When the fruit is ripe, pick it.
Jam on the bread, butter on the toast.
What's the cereal we like most?

[verse 2 - with Sean Connery accent]
"No, Robin, my fine laddy, you got that all wrong.
Just look at that holster, look at that gun.
Look at those women gracing my spine.
Double-O-Sevens! Double-O-Sevens!
Best damn breakfast food by a long shot.
In your face with my dry bits!"

[chorus]
When the oatmeal's hot, pour on the milk.
When the fruit is ripe, pick it.
Jam on the bread, butter on the toast.
What's the cereal we like most?

...something like that...

Not bad
The horn samples are a bit cheesy for my taste. The drum loop needs
broken up - I realize it is a sample and they do loop but with a little
effort you can do it. The bass and guitar sounded pretty good overall.
I liked it.

Keep Jammin!

all you need
is to correct the horns a bit (they are a little late, but i don't want to flog a dead horse), throw some reverb on them, and then get a fat James Bond Duane Eddy guitar line in the middle somewhere. Nice jam, the guitars and bass sound great.
