Description:

Lyrics:
One day it was written in a mighty fine book,
Love your neighbor love your enemy like you love yourself
Don’t be quick to pass no judgement that ain’t your place
There will come a time for all of that

Chorus:
But I say they don’t hear those words
And I pray that somebody heard what I said
If not I’ll say it again.

We’ve got our freedom of religion, freedom of speech
The right to bare arms and a decent wage
We should be healing, not hurting the world
What’s so free about a police state?

Chorus

Somwhere down the line you must of bought into the lies
That it’s un-American to question the government
Too long your faiths been blind, you fell behind the times
We’re living in some kind of Neo-Con experiment

Chorus

say it again &mdash 03/24/06 - 10:07:37 PM
It's got some great moments. I really like this. What a great voice. It
seems like your voice was strong throughout the whole piece. Can't
wait to listen to more.

I'm right in there on the lyrics! &mdash 03/25/06 - 03:35:02 AM
Nice song Bob - the voice sounds great as usual, and you know I am
right in there on the lyrics! You get a nice guitar sound - it all reminds
me of "The Eve Of Destruction". That's one powerful ending, I wish I
could push my voice like that! Only production downside is some
clipping on the vox.

Very nice voice &mdash 03/25/06 - 05:54:43 PM
You do well on the instrumentation and mix. It sounds kind of 'live
concert', which is just right for this song. Vocals got a little clipped near
the end.

Man you can sing!! &mdash 03/25/06 - 07:24:55 PM
Nicely done! I do find myself craving some ripping guitar solos to
interplay with the intensity of your voice....

I've really been enjoying digging back through your posts and listening
to you awesome voice! I Know You Rider is a regular tune for my band
and I really enjoyed hearing your voice on that one. Might have to
download it and see if I can rip a lead for it on the break.

i like the political turn this takes... from the start, it could go in any
direction really. good to speak out!

great song! i like the bass a lot. i agree with neil about the clipping (at
the end)... it seems like maybe you just need to step away from the mic
when you're singing that loud... i ran into that problem the other day.
even when you turn it down, it sounds like it's clipping...

that's a nit pick, though. sounds great overall!

Fucken Eh! &mdash 04/26/06 - 08:07:13 PM
Good job brother! That's what it's about, minimal production with some
hard ass lyrics. I love it. Anyone that makes a rhyme out of government
and Neo Con experiment is 'OK' in my books.

I will be looking for more.
