I don't care for the mix...vocals are too far back. I would also like to hear a little more work with the guitar sounds...they don't blend as well as they could. All that said...I LOVE THIS SONG. Seriously, you guys have something here. Why it would be easy to say you're just following the current stripped-down rock trend, you do it well. This song should get you noticed, and a good engineer and producer could put you on top of the world. I'm going to listen to the other tune you've posted. Good luck, guys. You've got something special.

Yeah, we recorded this in one take live, and mixed both songs in 10 hours, so it
obviously is far from perfect. We were kind of pressed for time because we had
to record a demo for a local festival that we wanted to be considered for. In a
while, we will maybe rerecord, but definitely remaster and remix it.

The recording/mix is pretty rough, too boomy, a little overdriven on
the bass & vox (even though the vox was a little too far back.) The
guitar and singing could be tuned a teeny bit...

BUT...

the songwriting, song structure, lyrics, choice of chords, drum-playing,
layering of instruments, cool synth parts, fun ending... this is a gem of
a song, really could be awesome if recorded & played more cleanly. It
reminds me a lot of Electric Light Orchestra, so, I like it :-)

yes we are playing at post prom.

we have many songs, but it looks like to fill our time slot, we will only play 6.

most of our songs average between 4 1/2 and 5 minutes long.

they will be the best 6 songs of your life.

i would tell you the set list, but that would just ruin all the fun, wouldn't it?

and by the way, who are you?
