After Summer jazz piano trio

Get Flash to see this player.

Description
This is a mellow jazz piano outing, which uses the chord changes to a well-known jazz standard. Can you guess what the standard is? You really won't hear the melody here (that would be a copyright violation), but since there's no copyright on chord changes, and since I love this number so much, I wanted to share my take on it with you.

GB2, eMac 1.25 ghz, 768mbRam, Synthogy Ivory piano software (Jazz C7 setting), bass from SonicBoomBox, drums mostly from GB2 library (woodblock from SonicBoomBox). Drums are virtual instruments, not loops. Patterns are played by me. Controller is Yamaha P-120 digital piano. Interface is MidiSport 2x2.

You've played too many jazz charts, iGStudio! You're disqualified! Didn't you
read the fine print??

Seriously, you got it right, iG. Good ear!

You win the admiration of MacJammers everywhere!

After the extended intro,
I finally figured it out after you 'gave it away' by playing the first four
notes of the theme. Actually, my first guess was 'I Feel the Earth Move' by
Carole King, but then it shifted into 'Autumn Leaves'. Just a quick
question - Isn't it Spring in Indiana? I know some hoosiers have a thing
about following daylight savings time, but the seasons, too? ;)

Seriously, it sounds great. I could listen to your piano playing for a long
time, it's really enjoyable. You really have the piano sound down right.
Along with your excellent playing, I appreciate your choices of
instrumental timbres and the tools you use to get those sounds.

After the extended intro,
Thanks, Kristy. Hey, this song is so good, you shouldn't have to wait until
autumn to play it!
