Description:
Contemporary, inspired by D. Eldridge's book of the same title.
Lyrics:
WILD AT HEART
My God, He is a warrior;
Lion of Judah, Walker on the storm.
Laying down His life for me, in His battle with the Dragon,
Striking off the serpent’s head
With the power of His two-edged sword.
Wild at heart;
A flame of passion burning deep down in my soul.
Make me like you, Lord, rejoicing in Your strength;
For only thus will I be whole.
Only thus will I be whole.
My God, He is a lover;
Drawing me forever, Ever closer to His side.
He prepared a place for me at the cost of His own bleeding,
Building, there on Calvary,
A Palace for His Bride.
Wild at heart;
A flame of passion burning deep down in my soul.
Make me like you, Lord, exulting in Your strength;
For only thus will I be whole.
Only thus will I be whole.
And I’ll worship You
My strength and my desire.
Jesus, You’re beautiful,
My all-consuming fire.
My God, He is a Father,
Showing me my purpose, giving me my name.
Molding me and making me in the image of His likeness.
Dressing me in holiness.
Taking away my shame.
Wild at heart;
A flame of passion burning deep down in my soul.
Make me like you, Lord, rejoicing in Your strength;
For only thus will I be whole.
Only thus will I be whole.

I meant to say more about the guitar, did you use any preamp before the
Mac, because it sounds natural,,, like a horner... If that's direct then I'm
suprised [ Reply to This ]

Thanks for the encouragement. Tomorrow I should have the finished song on
with my wife's vocals.
Guitar mic is just through my Behringer Eurorack mixer, UA-30 interface and
into the Mac. The e-100 mic is wonderful though. [ Reply to This ]
Excellent &mdash 04/04/06 - 05:27:04 AM
Sounds great, VP. Your guitar work especially is very enjoyable.
Your lyrics show much evidence of prayer, meditation, forethought,
and planning.
Many people at my church have read that book, and have appreciated it
very much.

Your lyrics are full of praise. I really liked your soft, reverent guitar work.
God bless,
