Oh boy! Love the playing, especially the inventive run and other fancy
stuff around halfway (and beyond). Drums and bass a perfect foil.

Introduced to Danny Gatton in 1988, by the owner of the KitKat Club,
where he was starting a week-long stand. Went every night. Best part of
'88, as far as I'm concerned. Understood why no one would Close a Show
after he'd been on.
If I find something of note to critiqe (improve) in this homage, I'll get back
to you. Meanwhile,

Production down to a NINE, at first. Now, I'm Afraid - This would just Have to

Thank u for the comments.This song is a part of my first album "Octopus" and pay dues to Danny Gatton and the master of the telecaster Roy Buchanan.I used a customized telecaster through a bassman head with 4x10 celest. speakers.I put two mics:57 shure with avalon pre (i think 747-like boeing) and schoepps ambient mic with millenia preamp(dont remember the model cause was a friendpreamp).No pedals/effects (just a little bit reverb in the mixes) were used, bassman was up to 10.Very important :telecaster strings are 0.11-0.52

This one was a downloader from the get-go, have you sent this to The Roadhouse podcast yet? Tony would eat this up - there were moments that you were standing alongside Clapton (especially those little triplets) - love the space in this arrangement too - those short, stark moments in the song where everything seems to stop, but not dramatically.
