Description
a little taste of some 80's and FuturePop thrown together. Creative criticism always welcome! The vocals aren't the best, but it took me a bit to figure out how to record audio through my iSight camera. :P

Okay, due to the feedback I received (thank you for them, by the way), I re-recorded and increased the volume level of my voice and also added a little more musical and vocal accents to the song. Hopefully, it sounds a bit better. Looks like I'm going to need to buy a mic soon, although that nice flatness to the voice was achieved simply by the recording quality of my iSight camera, heh!

Lyrics
I'm not sure I'm meant to see,
The Bitter thing that I could be,
In my dreams you're sent to me,
You proved that I can be me.

All my life I've waited for you,
Don't know what I'd do without you,
Here I lie in elation, with you.

Nice visual effects on the voice
You get an extra point for ingenuity recording vocals thru
your iSight. Is the music video coming soon? I like the
effects on the voice, the flat (in EQ terms), even sound you
get, it fits the style perfectly. I'd like your vocals even
louder, tho. (And I like your voice too.) But this is a fun
track, and nice lyrics.

Yep, that's the sound
I think you nailed the genre sound, exactly as you say in your description.

You could definitely bring the vocals up in the mix. They're better than you probably think, especially where you add in the harmony part. The instruments are really finely balanced, including the stereo pan.

Wow! Thanks for the kudos! Also, thanks for the tip. I had no idea you
needed artwork to pop up in the "Mystery Picks" section. I suppose I'll
have to add artwork to all my stuff, heh! However, as you can see, I did
add some to this song. :)

Great stuff
Great pop song of this decade with a deep touch from the
eighties. Which I love. I would love to remix that song and
let you sing your parts again. Nothing wrong with the
vocals – I'd just make slight adjustments. That's just the
producer in me, sorry. Don't take it too personal. :)

Overall I think this is great stuff and it would sell. So I sent
you an email today... Let's see where this leads.
