Description:
This is an update of a song I made a while back. It's a bit longer, cleaned up the notes and tried to make it sound more natural (which is pretty difficult with software instruments!) I haven't been creative lately, so this is my latest offering. Enjoy!

Hardware:
G4 Mac

Software:
GB3 with Symphony Orchestra

You can achieve a more natural sound by assigning the individual tracks
to "feed" off of the Master Track reverb presets for a Classical "Hall" sound
field. There are several to choose from in Garageband. Placement of the
instruments is also important... to arrange them in your "virtual" stage.
Adjusting the note "Velocities" and creating "Expression" curves also help
the dynamics.

This composition is deserving of further development!

I am fairly new at GB, so thanks for the tip! Also, I am a fan of your music. I can only hope to be in the same level in the future.

It was a beautiful sounding piece. I wish there were a few more points of
emphasis along the way. I like one little bit of harmonic scale twoard the
end. The easiest way to add expression to your midi music is to purchase
a midi controller. (If money is not an issue) The keys will sense the
velocity with which you strike them. You can always assign velocity to
each note but that can get tedious.

Thanks for the comment. I do not own a Keyboard, and lack the ability to play it. It's crazy, but it's all manual for me (for now). I think I will invest in learning how to play.

Very pretty... &mdash 04/09/06 - 11:31:44 PM
and very moody. Love it! Sounds like a soundtrack to a tragic love movie.

Thanks for sharing!

A nice, smooth melody. Sounds natural to me :)
