Sounds to me like it belongs in the Electronic genre, maybe under techno. I think you'll get more listens there by folks looking for this kind of music rather than under Folk...

You fooled me to listen to this by going for the folk genre! What a clever trick! This is not what I usually listen to, but ill give my comments anyway. First of all i cant understand why you put in the folk genre, but again, you tricked me to listen (and that is a good thing). Your improvising sounds very good to me, it gets a little repetitive at some times though..And I feel that the bassline is a little to static....The melody is in some way quite catchy, and i think you can build a great track with this by making it a little more dynamic! I guess that is it, Keep in mind that i have no experience with this genre when reading my comment!
