Ah, this one!... &mdash 04/15/06 - 07:50:42 AM
Ah, this one! ... which I love ... Don't remember how the original was
arranged, (was a while ago), but it doesn't matter, it is still sheer beauty!
Thank you for posting again so I can download and ten-bomb again!
(Tunes like this ought be posted again at least once a month :-)

PS ... but shouldn't it be longer? ...

Longer? Oh yes, yes it shoud be, Curry.
I almost panicked and pulled it because it isn't longer, but I liked the additional changes enough to post this short version again.
All I can say is I decided to bear the shame instead of the pain (of indecision).
Thanks for bearing with me.

Wow, great playing and production. Your articulation and timing are so right on, and everything is so clear and clean sounding, with that percussion at just the right intensity. Nice going, Scorp! [ Reply to This ]
Very, very nice &mdash 04/15/06 - 12:33:23 PM
I loved the whole thing! It has a nice flow throughout, and you are
extremely talented on the guitar! [ Reply to This ]
enjoyable &mdash 04/15/06 - 11:51:44 PM
Like especially how it breaks into the second part. Very nice dance feel.
Fun! [ Reply to This ]
Nice addition &mdash 04/16/06 - 08:15:21 AM
Wow, the percussion and bass are right on. Can't wait to hear a longer
version. Just pulled me in and then faded away. I know this is a work in
progress and I enjoyed the demo. I don't really have any crits because it
just plain sounds good to me.

An excellent Sketch &mdash 04/27/06 - 07:53:36 AM
Hi Scorp...
This song is beautiful, it needs to explode and to grow to be a master
piece and it will be. Keep working on it. I hope to hear the final cut of this
track soon.

yep &mdash 04/30/06 - 10:24:41 AM
the playing is clean and u have the melody down.....now u need to
embellish that melody in all sorts of ways , provide some percussive
guitar breaks, etc....to lenghthen the track....i am sure when youre all
through and done it'll be a great and fun track........peace..... [ Reply to This ]
I'm with Cori Ander on this one! &mdash 05/24/06 - 03:25:22 AM
I'm with Cori Ander on this; I never heard the previous version, but I love
it! The first section feels like Nouveau Flamenco, the second feels
Venezuelan to me. BUT IT'S TOO SHORT!!! I wanted the second section to
go on longer. Maybe you could make this into an ABA form, or a rondo
form (ABACA, or ABACABA, etc.). Very fine playing! In spite of its brevity,
I decided to ten bomb you also, to encourage you to come back to this
and lengthen it! Is that a picture of your guitar? [ Reply to This ]
Sounds great! &mdash 06/25/06 - 02:28:33 PM
This could be a soundtrack to a scene from "Zorro." Great concept and
execution. I really like the section at the end as you're fading out, with all
the busy-ness in the melody. [ Reply to This ]
Sounds great! &mdash 06/25/06 - 07:52:25 PM
Thanks for checking it out, John. I need to extend the comp, though. My latest unposted version with some horn stabs that sound pretty darn slick.
This one's a slow goer:)
Glad you like it so far.

me too, prinergy user, been in the biz since scitex prismax and crosfield
scanners were the big thing. By the way I like your guitar playing, was
checking out some of your jams and glanced at your bio. Great guitar
playing! I like the latin feel of this song, reminds of Charo's Caliente. [ Reply to This ]
