damn you screwed me but it's OK, I like being screwed. I did not expect this, now I'm in a terrible mess. You blenderized me, I can't go to bed anymore, I have to think about my life in the glitchy blender. peace.

Wow &mdash 04/19/06 - 04:41:37 PM
This is really interesting. I like when it picks up into lots of faster beeping and switching. You've got a lot of clean, interesting sounds and it sounds like very cool supatriggered vocals. Excellent stuff.

Thanks! Yeah I just went round my student house and recorded anything with a switch or some moving part (printers, scanners etc) The vocal was put through dfx BufferOveride plugin which is a favourite of mine.

Oh cool... I've seen the BufferOverride plug in but never tried it. I'll have to do some experimenting with it.

geez &mdash 04/19/06 - 05:48:47 PM
this is ridiculous
wicked and non-objective, it speaks my language. it's original and a
pleasure to listen in.
some great old programs used in there, too! viva soundmaker!

WOOPS! WOAaaa!! &mdash 04/19/06 - 08:44:26 PM
Had the phones on and CRANKE!!! - Scared the cawrap otta me -
However, I opted for the roll of tp instead of the volume control - I love
sensory overload This was significantly COOL - And I can't make sense
that it did me so well, and this makes it frosty cool - Like PV said,
loads CLEAN and INTERESTING sounds - How'd u do that - Quite
impressive - Thanks for the mess - Dion

Glad you enjoyed!

I made the recordings as close-mic'd as possible to eliminate room noise and make it all really claustrophobic.

Cheers,

Matt

Swear to God.... &mdash 04/20/06 - 11:49:29 AM
....When I finished listening to this there was a bird outside my windows
imitating one of the parts. This type of experiment is very hard to pull off
successfully but I was genuinely surprised at it's quality and how
hypnotised I became by it. Well done Sir!

This should be played at border crossings & customs inspections. Great sounds!

Incredible work... great mixture of loose and tight structured
sections pieced together seamlessly... the opening snags ya by
the balls through the eardrums!

Hey there,

Snagged by the balls through the ear drums! Trying to imagine it!

Thanks for the positive comments, yeah i tried to vary the pace to keep it interesting.

Am thinking about doing some more pieces in this style (what I'd call 'Electronica with something to hold on to'.)

Matt.
