Just what this old warhorse needs, is to be played by Disney's Main Street
Electrical Parade! This is actually rather nicely done... I was worried that if
you take a repetitive thing like this canon, and do a techno (often
repetitive) synthy beat to it, it will be really, uh, repetitive... but you kept
interest throughout with some fun changes and sound effects here and
there. Probably could have changed synths for melody/harmony a *little*
more (like done one phrase with some synthy bells, for example), but it
definitely made me smirk. Of course the trance floor filled with dancing
pickles helped... or was that just my imagination?

Drakonis

Too cool. Um... don't think I can use it for my wedding walk though. Now
the reception... that's a different pickle! Woooot!

Pertty fun stuff - Now see, you made me go and do research on Mr
Johann Pachelbel's, because I had no idea this is all about - Quite abit
of thought went into this it seems - Are you playing all of those synth
sounds - Impressive

If you ever wanted to work this some more, I found a bunch of filse
that you could "hijack" to really embellish this. Go here and check it
out: http://www.helander.se/stefan/pachelbel/files.shtml It's quite
interesting, this little ditty

I'm not at all suggesting that you make any changes to this, I'm just
offereing up what could be a unique opportinity if this was something
that you came to, and on your own accord - Thanks for the invite -
Dion

Thanx Dion. So many files! I could keep working on it for years!

I actually started with a simple MIDI arrangement, pulled it all apart and came up with what you hear. The drum loops are from a Computer Music Magazine DVD.

Again - thanx for listening. Appreciate the comments.

It really is like the Main Street Electrical Parade! A perfect realization in the classic "Electronic" style. This is well done (not that I could listent to it more than once, hehe). Are those GB synths or are you using Arturia Minimoog V for the sounds?

Fantastic! &mdash 10/27/06 - 06:34:17 PM
I'm a big fan of electro-baroque myself (cf. my TuMi entry) and this is far better than most. A nice spin on this chestnut.

I should have searched MacJams before testing my own luck with this piece. http://www.macjams.com/song/28064 It didn't go too well since I didn't have the notes and a lousy ear to convert directly... Only the basline (in C major, I guess) remains. Your version was very nice and funny! Well done! Thanks for the listen!
