Description:
Not sure if I'm going to add anything more to this - I had a little harder, proggier part to this, but it stood out a little too much so I cut it.
Anyway, this is just a little calm, new agey piece. Oh, and the name is just the name of one of the software instruments. I always have the darndest time coming up with song titles...
Enjoy!

Add the &mdash 04/19/06 - 10:04:22 PM
harder proggier part back in :) Actually I do think that 1/3 way through it's begging to break out in guitar solos...but I always say that. It's really excellent like this, nice tones and melodies... has a very soundtrack feel. [ Reply to This ]
like how it developes into that &mdash 04/19/06 - 10:31:06 PM
nice Bolero-eastern feel, then goes into that nice windsweeped lush
melody with some terrific haunted melody.
And the list goes on and on. Very enchanting and fantazy. Like how it
gets newage rockish feel.
This is really nice E.
MJ should consider lucky to have you. I really enjoyed this piece! [ Reply to This ]

Beauty or mystery? &mdash 04/20/06 - 05:38:35 AM
This is wonderful as usual.
Silence and activity.
Two conflicting elements mix. [ Reply to This ]
It's okay to fight the urge sometimes &mdash 04/20/06 - 11:14:26 AM
I think this piece is wonderful as it stands without a prog part that might prove a bit jarring, given the easygoing setup. Just be happy to make a relaxing piece with another great soundspace and thick instrumentation. Dig the beats too ... all penciled, I imagine. Neat little piano theme with its minor key twist. A nice little bit of tension for the eventual release. Ending seemed slightly sudden, but worked in the context. Bravo! [ Reply to This ]
Mellow &mdash 04/20/06 - 05:24:28 PM
and very pretty. Nice melody on the piano. As noted above, there's a
tension to it that draws one in. I enjoyed it. [ Reply to This ]

Mystical and beautiful &mdash 04/21/06 - 12:39:07 PM
It's great how you experiment with all these different sounds. Your musical talent is so obvious in anything you do. Really like the soundbed you create with the electric piano, muted guitar. Why not try to work the part you left out into the mix? Could be a very nice contrast between the sweet melody and a more percussive part.
One thing I thought when listening to it again, was that I could imagine the transition from a major to a minor feel around the middle of the song to be more pronounced. Chords supporting the piano may help. Also the rhythm coming in doesn't seem to have a bass drum. That may be a concious choice, I suppose but the whole piece is mainly in the midtones and some bass may give it a fuller sound, bass guitar or percussion. Don't get me wrong though, I really like this, these are just some silly ideas! Fav'd & DL [ Reply to This ]
Nice &mdash 04/21/06 - 05:36:16 PM
Awww Ein, thats what your music is known for - breaking out into crazy stuff. If I do something like that I just make a whole new song out of the faster part sometimes. Maybe that will do.
I really liked the feel of this one like everyone has said. Very laid back and it has a slight emotional feel to it.
Good Job.

Yummy to my tummy - How do ya get so deep; I don't get it... Man
you're SUCH an artistic musician - Very pleasant to listen to - The
timeS that I tried to listen to this, I was too revved up to be slowed
down, but had I stopped to smell the roses... Nice synth work, as
always and that's gotta be the fatest juiciest bass that's ever smacked
and then wobbled into my ears here at mjs - Even though it hurt abit
on it's way down, y' know I lyked it - Quite delightful journey it was
and yes, I wanted it to continue, but this is not meant to be heaven
down here, they tell me... Thank you sir, for your hard and focused
work - It is certainly appreciated - Always a pleasure - Cheers - Cyd [ Reply to This ]
now.. &mdash 04/25/06 - 12:02:58 PM
this is true ambient......beautiful touch on the keys......memorable
melody....very hummable......now if only enja or bjork would sing to
it....hehhe......this piece could concievably be made into a larger
arrangement with some contrasting/complimentary sections,
instrumentations,etc......possibilities......peace.... [ Reply to This ]

....didn't remind me of A Clockwork Orange, but I see it is "Orange
Clockwork"... anyway, this was a pleasurable listening
experience... pretty without being sickening... produced well, nice

thoughts from the bull... &mdash 04/30/06 - 06:30:00 AM
this is just really well done! i don't know much about the requirements
of the genre, but this satisfies what I do know of it (going to spas and
such!).
there's such a great balance in the production. listened to quietly it
resonates nicely. listened to at higher volumes produces a lovely
warmth.
usually, i'm not crazy for the synth in the background, but it's tastefully
placed and never overwhelms the foreground.
really great music, here! thank you! [ Reply to This ]

spacious and etherial.... I love the changes... has a great world music
vibe... with your comand of this craft... I would like to see you work
from the title out...Have a theme and write about that, very much like
film scoring... I have always said that could be your occupation

Thanks for the kind words.
I am, in fact, working on a soundtrack for my brother's animated short film
(some final school project of his). I'm hoping to share it here, as well.
Half way done and have to finish before tomorrow - busy day :)
Again - thanks!

Sweet...but unnerving &mdash 04/11/07 - 03:22:32 PM
There's something that keeps me just a little off-balance in this song, like a nice stroll through the woods where something vaguely sinister might be lurking. So incredibly evocative, the kind of New Age music that doesn't just wash over you, but makes you sit up and listen. Beautiful mix, sounds, performance, everything. [ Reply to This ]
Nice track &mdash 09/23/07 - 04:18:24 PM
really nice track. Very easy to listen to and I love the progression of the piano to a joyous melody. Great track. [ Reply to This ]
