insanely tasty......
what an amorphous melodic thing here.... the percussives are so blipped/bleeped/bounced and hacked..... the sax is, well.... saxy. a great touch. the abrassive glitcy percussives are just spot on ...... prolly my fav track from ya so far............... DL'ed

Ahem... Downtempo...
Yeah, and while yer dole'n out shares of what u take to get here, I
won't need much this time - Dis was a faby bed of mechanics - Was
that my outside voice - hehe - What I meant was what a cool and
mechanistic soundbed - Kinda crazy mannnn - And I don't know how
ya got melodic outta mechanistic, but ya managed quite well, sir - Love
the squirly horns - It seems that lately I've had to google to understand
what people are sayin round here these days - Sun Ra - I did hear in
this who you had dedicated this to - You teched him up - Fancy play'n
- I couldn't make my itunes stop doin this one - You broke it and I'm
just gonna watch it be that at way for awhile.;.

Are you gonna let me come to France even if I don't become famous -
It's not likely that I will ya know... Can I just be almost famous at MJs -
Can this be enough - Please don't say, 'almost' - yeah, yeah - giggle,
giggle... - Thanks! - Later - Cyd

Ahem... Downtempo...
saxy mechanics melted in a bouillabaisse : you don't need to be almost famous to come abroad, you're a star anyway. everybody is a star. you're welcome anytime.

Oh...
SNAP! This was just what the doctor ordered!!! Being the robot that I
am, I loved this mechanical masterpiece. The sax totally caught me off
guard, but totally worked.

Oh...
I knew you were a robot. I'm glad to be your oil.

Very
Kronch. I'm digging the unique textures. I saw Sun Ra in 1988 and it was a concert I'll never forget... truly an incredible and unbelievable experience. This song does seem to share Sun Ra's enigmatic aesthetics and I'm reminded of those outer space sax solos. This was a very cool listen, thanks.

space IS the place...
but until then we must relish in the realm of earth and flesh which is here
made glorious by a cornucopia of clicks, clacks and binary bleeps
bouncing around beautifully disembidied horns.

Very cool sax solo
I totally dig the sax solo. Are they all samples/loops? Can you explain
what parts were played in via keyboard, or was any of it recorded using
players? Interesting effects (especially with regard to panning of the sax
solo) and interference created by layered squeeks. Really interesting
track.

Very cool sax solo
hi tobin, thanks for your interest.

not a single loop was used for this track. I started with the drum part, using Reason's Redrum, everything else is midi. well, everything but the sax. it comes from an obscure free jazz track, I took a ltitle piece of it, then cut it and played 3/4 of it upside down. I hope I won't be banned for that! cheers.

Very cool sax solo
Data, that is my uncle playing that sax piece, so don't worry about it.
He doesn't mind.
You Rawk Data. And although the masses on this site will never let an electronic
musician get above an 8.4, I personally think you are a 9.5 class musician here.
Honestly.

Its like your carving music out of free associating electrons. It is both cutting edge and classic simultaneously. I am impressed and mystified.
