Description
Only been working on this for a couple of nights - it is short and bittersweet with a pretty cool ending. I'm going to do some more work on it, but thought to throw it out here for some ideas.

Lyrics
been so lonely
too much time on my hands
someone to hold me
and give in to my demands
just gotta wait
it won't be long

Nice...
throw back! Very retro sounding. I think with a quality mic, this could
really shine. I also wish it were longer, but to do so would require more
in the lyric department... so, as it stands, it pretty good the way it is.
Does that make sense? Thanks for sharing, and I look forward to
hearing this with whatever improvements you add.

Nice...
Thanks MHz - definitely understand what you mean about the more lyrics. I've
never really written any before (which is no doubt apparent!) but will give it a go.
Not sure about buying a mic - the only reason I sang is I was alone in the house
and a bit tipsy... Thanks again for the encouragement.

Nice...
That's usually when I do my singing as well! LOL!

What a gem!
I concur with Mhz - this has an awesome retro feel. I love the Erasure-
Esque synthing -great job! The vocals are great too. This song is also a
great length - not too long, but not too short either, when it fades out, it
makes you hit play again - addicting! Great job, thanks for sharing!

Hey, thanks NoData I'm really chuffed you like it. I am going to work on it a bit
more but I will keep your comments on duration in mind.

lonely I am too
great track, really dig the vocal part and synths, reminds me of Tiga's style. My partner is gone for a week too, I know what you mean (did not tried to sing though).

lonely I am too
Ha! I wouldn't normally sing about it - being alone and bored just gave me the
idea! But now that you say it, it does make me look a little sad. Oh well, at least
it gives the neighbours something to talk about...

little more
i think the vocals could come up a little, some more lyrics would help. very electro. the instrumental seems to be pretty good the way it is. nicely put together.

your vocals
are perfect for the song. maybe bring them up a hair, and it's sweet pop perfection. love it. love your use of midi. how would you feel about remixing my song "unkind?" it's kind of a brian eno/depeche mode tune. i tried putting synth drums on it, but i'm really new to MIDI. if not, no worries. love your stuff.

Absolutely!
I almost missed this post, but I would be very interested in having a go at remixing your song.

WOW
2 years later and I just had to listen to this again. F23king fabulous. The lyrics are bang on and very original. Contradicting my previous statements, May I suggest you not change or add anything other than having the ending just play out for longer? Maybe 32 bars (or more!) and then fade?
