Description
This song was written and recorded about four years ago. I decided to add a few overdubs etc. It's about my Uncle Howie.
He just drifts around the country with his camper. Like a gypsy.
Perhaps everyone has an Uncle like that haha.

Lyrics
Move along

I'm leaving town tomorrow
Set out to chase the sun
Suitcase that I've borrowed
With an old song being sung

I'll be long gone (Howie)
Keepin' short days (How he?)
I call them stops (now he's)
He's on his way

Move along

Two wrongs don't make it right
and two rights won't make it run
Left turn in Albuquerque
Like a rabbit on the run

I'll be long gone (Howie)
Keepin' short days (How he?)
I call them stops (now he's)
He's on his way

Move along

I'll be long gone (Howie)
Keepin' short days (How he?)
I call them stops (now he's)
He's on his way

Groovin'
Really enjoyable track...kinda reminds me of early Camper Van Beethoven
(and not just because of the van in the pic!)
Cool track guys

Groovin'
Hey, thanks for the nice comments. I'd never heard on Camper Van
Beethoven. I see they have a web site. I'll have to find some of their tunes.

Well Constructed
Man this is a tight song. I found myself singing along, doing unison,
harmony, counter point. Really, really like this one. Might like to take a
crack at recording it myself sometime.

Well Constructed
Hey, bronco, thanks for the nice comments. This song had been kicking
around for a while. There were more lyrics at one point but they are missing,
ah oh well. I'd be interested to hear your take on it. I'm sure you'd do a
stellar job as usual. Thanks again.

Nice track!
I like the lyrics and the vox a lot. The instrumental section needs a bit of
work, but all-in-all a fine effort.

Be well!

Liked almost
everything about this tune.

But do you think the strumming guitar is the best option for the
opening?

But a helluva tune with excellent vox.

Nice groove
I like the groove that is set up by the simple acoustic guitar during the verse. The vocals are crying out for some harmonies, in my opinion. The repeat of "move along" could add a harmony each time, layering a richer, more pop-sounding vocal. The break doesn't work for me--seems to un-melodic for a song that otherwise has a hummable, infectious melody.
