my chance to work with a master lyricist....even if just in a cameo role.....i really love Jonx's gift of songwriting ....it seems effortless and witty and informed by life.....many thanks for this gift ...the opportunity the collab was a real treat.....

I have been listening to this tune over and over. Jonx your voiice is
incredibly radio freindly. What I mean by that is, it's the knid of voice I
would think so many people would love to hear given the chance.
The fits in quite nicely as well. Way to go Macboy and of course the nice
guitar fingerpicking.

Everything to me seems perfectly fit for this song. Jonx's voice has that
quality that sucks you in. The understated drums catch my ear and
both acoustics work well off of each other. Was the small noise at end

The drums and the discreet bass together with the nice acoustics makes a perfect environment for this little nice song. The vox is great.

This falls into my "good as it gets" category.
Every bit of it. This is well written, well sung, well arranged, well played
and well recorded. I like the little bit of vocal and guitar trades toward
the end. This whole thing sounds and feels great.
I eagerly await the download option's return.

Very nice sound. So glad to see jonx collaborating with MJers, especially
when McBoy gets to play the mockingbird (one of my favorite birds, who
never seems to repeat a phrase, the only bird I know that can sing jazz).

I've been away from MJ for a while. I'm so glad I stopped in and caught
this. Absolutely beautiful. From lyrics to performance, to all the
production details a wonderful work, exactly what I'd expect from the two
of you in collaboration. It touches the soul. I really can't thing of any

Oh, I was so taken by the song itself I forgot to ask why this is under "ambient".
Not that it lacks any ambience but it doesn't fit into that genre by any measure I
know of. Whatever, doesn't really matter; I love it.

Jonx is in his typical amazing form in songwriting and singing, so
smooth, wished the lyrics were posted to read along with though...
more fun to read and listen and re-read. The guitar background was
delightfully sweetly played, similarly soft and breezy. There was one
spot near the very beginning where Jonx stops singing, then hums a
couple notes, then starts singing again... the singing was centered,
then the hum was far-right, then singing back to center... that seemed
a little strange. Later in the song, the humming is on the right, but is
harmonizing, so its not so obvious. I'd pull that first hum back to
center. Really nice collaboration you two!

so clean.....clear beautiful vocals and just right there with you the guitar
never overloading and again beautifully played complimenting your
vocals. Makes me want to be a wee kid and just roll down a hill of green
grass without a care in the world you can just about feel the air little crisp
but the sun is shining, this song feels and talks and if this is the first time
you have both got together then you both make this trip sound effortless.

I love the mellow sound of this track. The lyrics carry the tune and the singer carries the lyrics. And your guitar parts have a definite Jazz feel to them.
But why split hairs. This is excellent whether you call it Acoustic Rock or Jazz.
