Description
Kind of another sonic attack. I do happen to favor the phaser (very thick). But I avoided flange this time round. You may also notice no bass at all. I just couldn't play the GB bass sounds in a song like this. Tried my hand at lead guitar... well.. I wanted it to suck..so there. the only loops are the drums. the rest is me.

Sounds
pretty cool like the punk energy and attitude the song generates at
least for me anyways. The phaser is a little too thick for my taste but
that just a personal preference. Rock on

oh yeah
Good to see you back here. :-) This has some angsty rawness that...
well.. I'm a chick and I just dig it. Production wise, very solid; nice low
ends and clear percussion. Sweet guitar stuff. downloaded!

nice one
great vibe to this song.........the melody is good and the harmonies spot on, but its the overall vibe of the song that lingers in my head afterwards. a nice walking bass line would fit in perfectly imho.
this is my first listen of any of your work and it has left me thinking that you are like a big jam donut...... your arrival brings me great pleasure, and your departure merely leaves me hungry for more!!!!!!!

sounds good
parts remind me a little of sonic youth. I think I would like the phaser a
little more if it were a little less wet and maybe more random. still liked it
im new here and cant vote, sorry.please take a minute to check me out
and let me know what you think

Vocals should be louder!
Or use some distortion to make them stand out more....otherwise very
well done (even the sucky bits on the guitar - most of 'em suck enough to
at least be funny). I'm in the phone book and just down in Red Deer here
- real name Paul Stacey - give me a call if you feel like it.
Cheers, Shaky

Great
Even though the song might need variations in the end (just my opinion), the idea and the energy of it is very cool. I like the guitar sound and the game of both voices.

In Your Face
Nice raw energy. A classic BlackLily song. Downloading now. Glad everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did.
Take care,
Alan

Waves crash on suburbia..
I like it. The heavy phaser is balanced by the steady sound of the other guitar.
And I think the level of the vocals makes them blend in with the various auditory waves crashing about.
Bare boned is good.

Barbie's reprise
Yes this may be from a lil' while ago but the backstory and images associated with 'BlackLily' are still a unique musical period and some of the most intresting music in the first part of the 21st century...

It was boundary dodging, difficult to classify music, and still sounds quite original years on! :)

BL may not be uploading tracks in 2010 but it's cool there's still the musical legacy to check out! :)

Very Cool
I just stumbled upon this one...a little late to the party, I know. Great song, somewhat discordant, yet melodic. I hear a sprinkle of The Breeders, and even Joy Division, but still original sounding. I see you haven't posted anything in awhile; I hope that changes. I'd love to hear more. Thanks for posting.
