P(uffin) Diddy!
Those must be some funky little Puffins you're thinking about.:) Let me
be the first (?) to compliment you on this catchy little piece. It definitely
had my toes tapping.:)

Quencher
.. to your thirst for comments.

Bit twee for my tastes but having said that, after a few plays it grows
on you (confirmed catchyness). I, having never seen (in the flesh - your
picture helps) or been near a puffin I can't relate but I can say the
music does paint a picture with which I could grasp some of what you
appear to me to be trying to capture... anyways, don't listen to me! It's
a nice idea to capture nature in music .. I'd probably just sample the
suckers ;oD
Keep doing your thang... nice drum work, but personally I'd sink the
higher range percussion a bit and bring the bass up a bit on the lower
end drums - wouldn't do any harm to let the odd hi-hat ring out IMO.

I've also
never spent much time with puffins, but they sure are cute, strange looking birds. This is a bird-like song, tweety and flying and skittering in short bursts of activity. I enjoyed listening.
Check out my latest song called Machine Man (w Beastie Boys)

Michael Jackson can sing over this one
I downloaded this cause it really sounds very promising. I immediately
got into the rhythm of the song early on... it sounded like a great
beginning for an RnB song.

The best part is the first half. The second half kinda falters in that it fails
to build up to a chorus and does not complete the structure of the song.
It will be great if you make the middle half kind of a culmination of the
sing then go back to the first part as a repeated verse, then put a bridge
maybe. It really has a great rhythm to it so maybe you can revise this in
the future..and maybe, to top it, you sing over it! :-)
