Description:
Ron Carters Child of Illusion starts the track. Then TobinMueller comes in with his distinctive organ jabs and melodic surprises (via ftp). The organ groove that sets the pace is a ripoff from a song my students brought in and I stole, as any good musician does. It is a mix of bits and pieces of more people than I know (loop and jazz heavies of the great beyond) and so I thought it fitting to name it after my favorite monster.

Lyrics:
Art is by René Magritte, courtesy of ArtsForge.

Hardware:
My students are my best hardware. Plus the fingers of good friends. String and elec bass.

Software:
GB 1.1, Jam Pack

Great organ sound &mdash 06/11/04 - 10:24:34 AM
Is this an unintentional Ray Charles tribute?

Really nice. Lots of humanity in it.

I can't stop listening to this groove you guys laid down.
Totally agree with the earlier post, the organ sings and
that bass line just holds everything together w/out effort.

I'm curious, where did the drums come from?

GB drum loops/samples. Not sure if it is a Jam pack or not.
