Spining in headphones Nice bass work. The constant panned phasing of the drum set drove me crazy. This is a cool piece. Consider mixing the drums as a straight ahead set and just let the music live without bells and whistles. Check out my latest song called Forge A New Life (MJRF)

Yeah... Overall vibe was great, with the spacey sounds and live instruments... it got a formless in areas, but I don't mind too much. The only thing this could have used was a little more of a memorable "hook" that stood out to punch it into shape... just a little something... Check out my latest song called Gossamer dissected

You only almost went over my head that time... Yes, you are one of those artist that always brings a smile to face - Hehe - you and your successes... I love that you are here - And I love that I can log onto mjs and hear whatever might be under the sun, and it's because of efforts like this... It's people like you and your posse that will continue to stretch the boundaries of what might appear here, and anywhere else, should you continue on in this path... - I love that - This tune is the real thing - It took me a day, but I get it now - I guess that it is true that you win prestigious scholarships because you can impress an appointed council of judges that are amongst the few who have proven that they do have what it takes, and they know it when they hear it -- I knew that you were a genius, and even if you didn't return that video yet... Smooth Pretty cool - especially dug the bass. I agree with Stun Nutz about that 'hook'. This doesn't need a lot, but it might need something like that. The drum panning worked for me, perhaps because both my speakers are more in front of me than to the sides, but I can see where listening to this on headphones might be a bit distracting. But, yeah - I liked it. Very smooth piece, man. Nice work! Check out my latest song called Good Things Come in Fours

retitle this the sur-real thing... Joel, not sure what to say of this style of music. Part of me longs for your melodic songs but at the same time I admire your audacity in trying new genres or subgenres. It borders on experimental to me, but again, I'm not an expert on this kind of music. It kinda got me a little bit disoriented and, in that sense, you achieved what you wanted to happen-- make the listener have a sensation of vertigo or something. The melange of sounds made me feel like i'm in an electronic jungle of sorts, quite an intriguing and strange musical experience. retitle this the sur-real thing... It's alright Leon, I'm still in my play stage with music. As you can see, I haven't settled into a genre quite yet. I have a feeling you'll like my next post...I may even ask you to do a vocal version of it. Just wait and see. Check out my latest song called You Got Me (remix)
