composing..
This was a lot of fun. I had trouble finding some downloads; especially
crowd sounds that fit a surge, but it was amazing what I could find online.
I grew up in the South US and my best friend was named after Lee and
Jackson; all in the same name! If you go south you will see reenactments
with a bit more heart than in the north. Trouble is getting someone to
play the yankees.

Effective
I'm a little speechless after listening to this. But I still just wanted to let you know your effort was appreciated.

Highly provocative.

Only question is were there machine guns used in the Civil War?

Actually we have spaced musket fire. If you listen to Gettysburg when a group
fires in unison the muskets are actually spaced out like a peppering of shots.
There is a place with six evenly spaced shots. This is supposed to represent a
six shot revolver. The only time you might empty a revolver like this is into a
charging enemy or perhaps out of fear. Actually the shots would not be so
perfectly spaced, but that is what I had to work with.

The Union did have an automatic rifle that looked a bit like a canon; I have
seen one in action. However it only fired a limited number of shots and
sounded more like a revolver.

The Gatlin gun was not used in any major engagement.

Interesting
This is an interesting arrangement and could be applicable to a variety of
different platforms. Good job on the feel and emotion. Maybe brighten
the sounds in the background so they stand out a little more in contrast
with the quiet and somber melody. God Bless.

The South Shall Rise Again
Love the use of Dixie here. Actually I live in Mississippi and my cousin is a member of the Sons Of The Confederacy. So I can totally apreciate this. Awsome Job.

thanks
I grew up in NC. and that war was a big part of my life. I still get a thrill when I hear the rebel yell, and I do hear it from the southerners who visit our reenactments in Iowa.
