the fact that you play such a variety of instruments is not only mind-
blowing, it's inspiring! it also explains how this piece can be so simple
yet lovely. peaceful, in the way one might feel on a Friday evening after
a long, exhaustive week.

funny, the song was released on a Friday, and for me, it was a
particularly long, exhaustive week! so, obviously, i was attuned to
hearing such a great theme!

thank you for sharing. i'm looking forward to what you come up with
next!

After your description of your music in my forum post about genres, how could I not come and check out your tune.

And boy, am I glad I did. This song has such a melancholy undertone, but is celebratory at the same time. Well done.

And it's all you, every instrument? And all through that pinhole mic? I'm impressed.

I'd love to know how you recorded this. What instrument did you lay down first? And did you compose the piece before recording or are the parts sort of adlibbed on top of one another?

Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, it's all me. 90% of the time, guitar goes on first, since that's what I'm
probably the best at playing...the other 10% is banjo.
Then I just make up the rest as I go. I never really know how anything is ever
going to turn out...

This is great &mdash 05/07/06 - 03:06:41 PM
A wonderful mix of instruments (all nicely played I might add)...a real live
feel to this track which I like a lot, a haunted folk tune quality that feels as
old as the hills
Very enjoyable
Steve
