Once again .... I am singing all over someone's instrumental (gotta love these guys who keep providing me with such great soundbeds to dance all over) .... in this case it was a song by Bad Smells (which I note has recently been deleted so I won't make reference to it here) .... But when I first listened to it .... I immediately thought about some lyrics I had written and said to myself .. oh this would be PERFECT for Emotional Vampires .... now for anyone who doesn't know what an Emotional Vampire is .... its those people who seem to suck the life right out of you with their constant and never ending emotional needs .... I hope you enjoy it.

well, with such a subject it definately would be likely to be heard in a goth club, since they do the more dance type stuff. hmm, i'd have to watch pulp fiction again to see that comment, tho it seems possible it fits.

I like the vocals. Matches so well with the music. You've got an
interesting and great style. I have seen a previous comment about Souxie
an the Banshees'. Yeh but I think you have a bit of something else. Must

nice harmonies! definitely hits me as a soundtrack tune...can almost see
some. I can see the Souxie comparison, but with the vampire subject and

Nice Alannah! This style really suits your voice - I haven't heard the
original, but it sounds like it was written for you. Perfect harmonies
also (or "echo track" should I say?). I can hear Jim Morrison in this &
maybe a bit of Grace Slick too.

From a ballad Goddess, to kick-ass Metalannah, and now a gothic
Vampire? Talk about versatility! Don't tell me your next song is a
collab with hiphopping-rapping Missy Elliott?
Seems like you've taken the advice of not overdoing the reverbs and
echo and you seem to have employed that knowledge in this musical
piece. This ones sounds better mixed than any of your other songs.
The vocal levels also seem better, no clipping that i can discern.
You've also learned how to NOT sing on the guitar solos, except for a
few short segments. Geez, Allanah, looks to me like you're on your
way to getting a degree in musical engineering soon. Now, if only you
can buy a Mac...That will top it off! :-)
Oh, also, I imagine the toothache is already gone. It must be well and
strong enough to be biting into somebody else's neck and sucking his

This is pretty cool. The music reminds me of something from a movie.
Lyrics are well written for the topic. It is an interesting song. Background
music is really good and well done. Bring your voice out more, more
ennunciated so that your words aren't swallowed by the music. Of

well now I don't believe anyone has ever told me to bring my voice out "more" .. hahahahha And here I was working so hard on tuning it down (due to clipping issues) .... thanks for the comments (and the muffledness is probably just me slurring my words ... heh heh .... too much dental work? or too much beer? hmmmmm).

- I really like the guitar and all of the instumentation on this - And of
course I would have worked the drums a little, but that's about me,
cause everything here turns out to be a good match - It has a creepy

Lovely crisp production to this, and a great tremelo guitar push this
along. The vocal perfectly matches the song subject - it's cool, sexy but
quite detached. There's emotion here, but also a coldness that I really
like.
