Description:
Opening song on my album 'Down the Line', available on iTunes

Lyrics:
I'm feeling uneasy, one might say queasy
Something you said, maybe something you've done
I'm feeling unstable but I might be able to resist if you wanna have some fun.

Why don't you tell me story, it might be boring
But I promise I'll listen if you want me to
You might be amusing but its humour you're using
It cracks me up and it breaks me down

The hour is getting late, don't wanna suffocate
If I stay too long I might not feel strong enough to cope
Might have to get me some rope and string myself up
From the nearest tree, yes its me it not you
I know that you want to but I can't take this any more
I don't know! I don't know! I don't know! I don't know! I don't know!!!

Is that the time I must be going
Yes that's the hour my watch is showing
Sorry honey but I just gotta leave
You've got nothing up your sleeve!

Real killers feel to this &mdash 05/07/06 - 06:50:43 AM
I realize you're already at the point of trying to sell this, so the
production is kind of locked in, but here's some thoughts anyways.
Generally, this is really good. Good vocal, though to my ear, your vocal
should be more immediate. It sounds like you were in a small empty
room. A dry compressed vocal that was mixed a bit higher would suit
my ears better. I really like the synth part. In the beginning, it sounds
like there is a main theme to it that really enhances the introduction,
but then it's like there is a few "extra" notes that don't really do much
to add to the part. I'd sooner just hear the theme itself and loose the
"in between" notes that sound to me to be just taking up space. As the
Edge once said : "Notes are expensive" use them only when necessary.
Anyways, overall, great job. Good rock n' roll.

Sure you know how...to play music. &mdash 05/07/06 - 05:30:14 PM
Nice debut song, Finermusic! Sounds kinda British to me, which is a
positive thing to say. There are lots of great British artists here, but then
again probably you are not.

Vocal performance is straightforward and clean, with effective jumps to
the next octave. Your instrumental playing demonstrates confidence and
mastery.

Would serve everyone well to have a glimpse of the lyrics too.

nice opening track &mdash 05/09/06 - 12:13:11 PM
yes, posting the lyrics would be good. i like the contrast between the rock vocals, with that synth you'd expect in a more poppy style of music of even video game music. the synth has a nice hook.

I am indeed British, from London, so that was well spotted, Leon!
Thanks again! :-)
