Description:
My first GB song. I am re-submitting this one with id tags. OopsLyrics:
I stopped into this bowling alley, to get out of the rainShe was chain-smoking, spandex, varicose, bouffant With a strike in every frame I never seen anybody get it perfect, not in the bowling lanes Sweet mystery of life, astound me I stood there in the shadows as she bowled 5 perfect games Man, I was speechless, I was changed The guy behind the counter says she comes in every day And holds up a hand full of score-sheets all covered in little black squares He says she don't play for nobody, no time, for nothin' All the various leagues are tripping over each other trying to woo her with something Guarantees of fame and fortune, and prize money She turns them all away, every one ...being curious, I asked her, and this is what she told me... In pursuit of perfection, you can touch the face of god In selfless dedication, you might even fool yourself You could attain higher purpose If you sing the beauty of the world, or Bowl a perfect game So I said " What? Is that it? is that all?" And she said,"you're the one looking for a Guru, Jack So therefore it's not my call If you've ever bowled a strike, you know it feels good, it feels good I do it because it feels so good, And I can do it all by my self, I don't need anybodies help. And the possibility is there The possibility of a spare, and on that day I'll walk away But that day ain't been today, or thousands of yesterdays In pursuit of perfection... Hardware:

love your stuff, all the way thru: lyrics; tunes; tasty, free-flowing and
constantly cool guitar licks; performances; and especially vocal stylings.
The extreme panning of the 2 keys in headphones kind of gets to me
after a while, even tho it provides nice separation for a demo. The few
moments of guitar distortion integrate into the live performance feel, but
I'd prefer them not there. Still, such a great track. Simply love it. Great
storytelling.
