Description:
Dark, brooding, droning Celtic-ish tune.

I kind of have a habit of making up lyrics as a go, and looking back on them, I could see someone thinking this is a song about cutting yourself. It's not supposed to be, but hey whatever floats yer boat.

The pinhole mic stole a little quality away from my voice recording...

Lyrics:
Stay away from me
You must forever be

And the knife
Which softley peels itself

And the knife
Will always be itself

Apart from me
You must always be

Imperceptively

Classified condition
And yet no one listened...

Hardware:
Fender Banjo
Yamaha FG180 (As a bass)
Matusek Accordion
My vocal chords

Garageband

Celtic &mdash 05/09/06 - 01:21:04 PM
I can see the similarity to someone cutting themself. Without your
statement at the beginning I'd think this was depressing! As well, it
sounds good, the mix is not exactly balanced but it sounds consistent.
For celtic music, maybe add a cello or violin in the background softly.
Just some strings work as well. This works either way. God Bless

Definitely dark... &mdash 05/10/06 - 01:25:58 AM
and the celt/appalachian influence is there. I really like this. But please
invest in a Mic and re-do this. (All through I felt I was being teased.)
You're on to something good here, I hope you will consider a re-do.

Be well!

Great potential &mdash 05/11/06 - 08:37:38 PM
With a new mic, this has enormous potential. Even with the pinhole it's
a wonderfully haunting piece of music. I loved the banjo -- great
sound and cool picking pattern. Great job on this!
