Description:
Although technically this song has no "explicit" content ... I thought it might be a tad "suggestive" hence the "explicit" Tag. Once again, I couldn't keep my voice off a fabulous Kennybender song. I want to thank Moorlandt for his assistance with the French translation and pronunciation of the lyrics (however, I still managed to mis-pronounce them) ... But this is a song of love (and perhaps a little lust thrown in for good measure).

Lyrics:
French Lyrics:

Touche-moi là - Touche-moi là-bas
Viens mon amour - Emballe ton cœur autour de moi
Embrasse mon âme - Et touche moi là-bas
Je t’aime mon amour - Je t’aime
Prends-moi dans tes bras - Et aime-moi
Regarde-moi dans les yeux - Quand tu me touche là
Je t’aime mon amour - Je t’aime
Touche-moi là - Touche-moi là-bas
Il faut que tu me possèdes - Quand tu me tiens fortement
Ne me laisse jamais partir - Quand tu me touche là-bas
Je t’aime mon amour - Je t’aime
Touche-moi là - Touche-moi là-bas

English Lyrics:

Touch me there - Touch me there

Come my love - Wrap your heart around me
Embrace my soul - And touch me there
I love you – my love - I love you
Take me in your arms - And love me
Look into my eyes - When you touch me there
I love you – my love - I love you
Touch me there - Touch me there
You must possess me - When you hold me tight
Never let me go - When you touch me there
I love you – my love - I love you
Touch me there - Touch me there

I'm reminded of Jane Birkin with Serge Gainsbourg. But I'm too young to
remember that. ;)

great intimate presentation..... &mdash 05/09/06 - 06:15:18 AM
of beautiful lyrics, thanks! Piano and strings are lovely too! The electric
guitars toward the end, with the heartbeat and more powerfullness to the
expression :)NightBird

It doesn't matter &mdash 05/09/06 - 08:23:55 AM
It just doesn't matter what language it is in... it doesn't matter what GB
loops are used... Alannah, the universal language of desire, to be loved,
held, all this comes across in an almost visceral way with your vocal
delivery. Your choice of harmonies drape seductively over the soundbed.
Kennybender played a great guitar part there, too. Your recording/
mixing skills and your vocal placement in the songs all are improving
nicely! Faved & DL'ed, of course.

Drakonis

Je t'aime moi non plus... &mdash 05/09/06 - 09:49:54 AM
Mungo is right. This song has the Gainsbourg spirit in it, but the vocal
delivery reminds me some Piaff songs.
Nice.

sexy music. Very evocative and sultry....sing it french is genius,
because with French and your voice...well, you couldbe saying "milk the
Goat" and it would get me steamy....

The guitar playing sounds a little stiff to me too....but that isn't a
pun...the lack of really sexy vibrato on the leads diminish the nice
phrasing and tone...but that's just me being picky, I think.

Nice late nite music...very cool collab you guys

Yeah... the piano was kinda stiffy... the cords were kinda hard.. the pads were
dripping at some point... the melody flowing and oozing... and the beats in
certain parts were strangely pumping a bit... the voice was milky and creamy..
the great parts just kept coming...

Geez... I don't know where this critique is going...not the direction you were
thinking, you dirty minded people! Honestly... really... no, truly, no pun
intended!

Hey, Alannah, great post! I'll let my pastor listen to this. He loves great music.

You're pronouncement is charming &mdash 05/10/06 - 03:32:06 AM
OK, I would lie if I said your French pronouncement was perfect, but thank god it isn't (neither is my English I guess). Makes it so warm and charming. When hearing the result, I'm very pleased that I could help you out with the translation.

BTW: Alannah, apparently I'm not alone with my 'je t'aime moi non plus' (Gainsbourg/Birkin) comparison. Next time we must make e real duet :-)

Am I the ONLY person to have NEVER heard of Serge Gainsbourg or his "Je t'aime" song BEFORE I concocted this one ???? I think he is more well known amongst the European community perhaps ... however, upon doing my research (after the comparisons I just had to listen) I came across a version of his song that he did with Brigitte Bardot (and I must confess to preferring her deeper sound compared to the extremely high notes that Jane Birkin hits on this number) .... thanks for the comments all ....

french &mdash 05/15/06 - 10:36:37 AM
yay french, took 3 years of it. i love the heart beat sound of the percussion in the video, makes me think of the music video for closer. sometimes the piano seems to sound like it skips, but im thinkin it may be my comp cuz the beginning seemed to be skipping too. i like the speaking sound to the vocals sounds like you're talking to someone you love. this song seems beautiful even translated, you should sing an english version perhaps.

presence... the passion... it's all there in it's purest form. Beautifully
tender & inspiring.

This piano in this song is beautifully played. The voice is full of passion
and emotes really well. My only issue with the song is that the vocals
need to be brought up a little more. Don't be shy now cuz you sound
good :-)
