Very professional quality, this. I could tell within the first thirty seconds it was going to be good, and indeed it was.

Good mix, good vocals, good everything, I think. There's nothing else to say.

I am not too crazy about the vocals most of the way through without a break. But.. I love the backgrond bass guitar and beats. Sample or not, this is funky! I could listen to the instrumental for hours.

Hey thanks for the comment and glad you feeling the afro Funk/Groove ;o) .....
I sooooo hear you about the Vocals.. but its an album track so that's kina expected - Hence watch out for the Club Remixes with minimal Vox and pure breaks beats.... ;o) - Also you can hop to www.afroganic.com for some more afroganic tasters....

Peace

Thanks alot for the compliment/comments etc ;o)

With regards to refill/zero-g - Nope ;o) none of that was used; As the name Afroganic ( AFRO ORGANIC) implies all elements are Organic or Human played as in no Synths nor Computer generated sounds.... ;o) - The Vocoder type sound you hear in the Track is actually an african instrument called the Gonje which usually is played to follows the melody of the Vocals... check out the site
http://www.afroganic.com/ and go the instruments/ingredients section to get description and sound of the Gonje..... The track you hear is all made up of life played parts NO SAMPLES ;o) .... Aslo on the site there are more tracks and some cool videos - like the amazing Denim Scratch ... that blew me away when we were recording in Ghana and this chap came in and said he wanted to scratch on the Track -- we were like! errrr we don't have a Turntable -- He was like no problem just give me the mic ...... ;o)
