Description:
The March of Spring May

Ziesle the unicorn is for-teller of spring in the Kvodeghast valley.
He is captured by the mischievous Gaston and tied to the Kardegast elm
by his golden hoove.
Shasta the lovely princess, hair white as snow, is covered in the warming golden leaves of struggling Spring. She sees the beautiful steed snorting and screeching. She fears his power and panic.
The princess wonders if the grey skies are all that bad anyway.
The elf Potel runs to her side and whispers a Spring's secret in her ear.
She dances the forrest dance alighting on a breeze, calming the Unicorn Ziesle.
All the forrest lies still.
She bows to spring. She bows to lord Gaston. His laughter fills the valley echoing to mount Kasem.
She unties the unicorn.
Ziesle snorts, he bolts through the grey of the forest's winters end.
Green leaves and golden flowers fall in his trail, all Kvodeghast is alight.
Gaston spins the silvery princess Shasta around, he has set his trap. Laughter is the brother to spring.
He closes his eyes to kiss her.
She falls to the ground in icy diamonds.
She melts into the warm green forrest floor
Spring will have its day .

sonic tapestry you've woven here. This is pretty and evocative. One FEELS
the ice melting under the warming rays of the Spring sunshine. Nice mix!

Be well!

It is always nice to hear your comments. May the sun shine on you
throughout the Spring and Summer. And the Son as well.

Connection &mdash 05/22/06 - 08:05:26 AM
I sense a connection to the sun's deep harmonic vibrations. I felt that
only once...when waiting for the sun to rise over Saint Paul. It is
something you don't hear. You feel it resonate throughout your
entirety. A deep inaudible hum.

Just a quick comment &mdash 05/22/06 - 08:24:40 AM
Nice and relaxing... works quite nicely as the sustained texture... put
some ocean sounds in the background and you've got some classic
meditation music :P My only gripe at this point is that song doesn't
really end in a satifying manner. Because of how the piece started... I
kinda expected the guitar to finish... but more importantly... the
sustained chord at the end just doesn't resolve properly... its like
drawing your last breath for the song, but not exhaling. I think I can
hear a string sound underneath the sustained chord resolving, but its
not loud enough and some of the notes in the sustain chord still need
to altered just a little to fit into that final chord. Hopefully I'm making
some sense... long day at uni.

Anyway, nice piece... nice guitar work too.

I have been taken to task many a time for my (or lack of) endings. I also
should have asked the, "Ziedlfurden mens choir, from the prefect of
Kvodeghast, ( GB Keyboard)" to back off for a second or two and just let
the guitar come through somewhere in the middle. Alas I thought the
endless squeeking of their leather pants and the shuffling of their large
leather brogans coupled with the swooshing sound of their feathered
fedoras would be distracting. I need to work on my details.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I remembered you mentioning
once before on your very cold walks to work, I once lived in the Midwest. I
truely remember the first hint of the warm spring air and how it filled your
lungs. Enjoy

well i listened to that at just the right time as i'd been listening to news
reports for about 6 hours - i do this sometimes just to see if i can take it.It
really depressed me and your tune was a welcome escape - made me
wanna be listening to it somwhere away from this ugly town.I escaped into
that picture you've got there too.By the way - the little guy with his
trousers down said 'hi - is it ok to pull my trousers up now?' - i said 'don't
ask me - ask the shoes - i'm off into yonder woodland'
cheers shoes

This is one of the rare, if ever, photos of the michevious, and arrogant I
might add, Lord Gaston. Miffed no doubt at his lost opportunity with the
Ice Princess. Hope everything turns green for you soon.
Cheers back Pad
