Island memories Until you started going insanely piccolo high and started to try 16th-note ornamentation, I thought it was a real flute and marveled at your intonation and recording savvy. Nice smooth riffs, the piano comping lacks a certain jazz edge, you perhaps use too many solo instruments and I'd rather have a piano solo and the flute come back in and drop the vibes. Island memories Tobin thanks to listen to my music. "Solo" it is an improvisation done of only a blow, reason why it is difficult to modify it. In fact my instrument is the guitar, but I like the piano and it attempt. I thank for much your opinion because I admire what beams. The piano is a Roland D170 (digital) and is in its basic selector passed through G.B. I do not know either with certainty if this subject would be New Age. A Tobin question: Why you title your commentary like "Island Memories". I am of a called island Tenerife (Canary Islands - Spain), near of Africa, and your title has surprised me.
