Suggested alternative title: 'Traffic Jam'!
Apologies for the dreadful pun...

I really like the feel of this - full of the fine guitar filigree I look forward to
on your tracks - the keyboard's good as well. To my ears tho' both the
drum loop and keyboards seemed a little too forward (and central) in the
mix. Also, I did find myself wondering what this would sound like
without the drum loop - the lack of variety here doesn't do the track any
favours. However, you say it's a quick instrumental and farting around
with drum tracks does take a lot of time.

Sweet One
Really good job with the midi keyboard on this one. Like the way you
use so many sounds but all keeping with the theme. I think the drum
loop holds the different sounds together alright but some sort of
bridge in the middle would probably add to the overall song.

this sounds so nick drake to me. sorry i keep making that comparison.
obviously it's not exactly his style, there's just a similar sensibility in the
composition.

definitely worth expanding.. great guitars as always. yeah maybe a
different drum loop in the middle, but this is fine for getting the idea out!

BIG!
Big sound Steve! Maybe the keys could back off a bit, but like the
groove - excellent guitar as usual! Some hints of Traffic to me. Now
where's that bass track?

mmmm...tasty licks!
Wow! I just got to where the flute comes in. Awesome. Beautiful and nicely
textured guitar work Steve. Made me pensive!

Be well!

Yeah, I can hear a touch of 'Rainmaker'...
'The Low Spark of High-Heeled MacJammers'...

I really do enjoy the tone and feel you get when you play the electric
like this, especially the lead lines...

You COULD take Komrade K's suggestions, and put some variation
into the drum loops. Add in those Rebop congas.

The fade at the end is a little fast. I'd do a loooooong, slow fade on this
one, with maybe a false fade to zero and a bring-back...

Nice listening...

Yeah, I can hear a touch of 'Rainmaker'...
Thanks Ed, this actually did go on as a longer jam...into a guitar riff bit that I
wasn't entirely too happy with after some consideration, hence the quick fade.
Cheers for listening in!

Love that guitar sound
Ooooh, slinky guitar! Very nice. The contrast between the synths and
guitars is lovely, although I guess the synths are a little dominant in
places. Great chilled out vibe.

Great to while away those frustrating hours on the M6. If only my car
had a CD player.
