Description
This is based on the Hopi indian prophecies in regards to the closing of the forth cycle....This recording is actually performed by the "live" lineup you see pictured. Myself (Ian) on guitar and vocals, Ratcliffe on guitar, Miq Smith on Bass and Brian Yawberry on drums. The photo is of the "live" lineup of SCW circa 2002....no....I no longer have the gotee'

Lyrics
the pueblo is pulsing of God
so set sail your sunboat soon
ask the Hopi he will tell you
there's no need to doubt
cause when the sky starts falling with trumpets calling
please come out of your tomb

we know, we've been there
with the skeptical stare
we know, we've been there
let it begin

The Great Purification

the game is lost medallions rust
electric idols turn to dust
into mushroom clouds the countries
all begin to bloom
material shelters wiped from the crust
of the earth

we know, we've been there
with the skeptical stare
we know, we've been there
let it begin

The Great Purification

Hey Mista SpringClock!
This stuff is fantastic, it has such a smooth throbbing beat, with the
wonderfully merging instuments, its so wicked, to tell you the truth I
actually wasn't expecting to hear something like this! I'd love to
collaborate with you, singing and shit!! One of the wickedest sounds I've
actually heard in ages.

big arena rock
this is huge... wow... it's got testoserone poisoning... great etherial
sounds swirling in there, I love the song, and the dynamics in the
verses, this is performed and produces well... one quibble, the drums
could be cleaned up a little in the bridge, and the wind lasts too long
for me at the end

clever
great vibe, works all the way around. cool changes. well played.
I think when the track changes back into the heavier mode, the vocals seem a bit buried. I like the whispery vocals, however, personally during the heavy change, I would have liked to hear the vocalist really step it up.
however, great tune

The Prophecy Lives
I like the sound and message in your music. I do think that when you use
information supplied by the Hopi it is important that the message be
heard clearly. For this reason I would bring the vocals up and some of the
surrounding instruments down in the mix...In this case style should not
overcome message....May the Spirit of Grandfather David guide
you....Peace and Light, Norman
