JOAN with expanded instrumentation! cool sound!
I am having difficulty making out the lyrics, but I'm still waking up.

That is one BRIGHT guitar sound you've got there. I like this - sounds like
controlled chaos. Seems like it's on the verge of spinning out of control at
any moment, yet doesn't. Like the lyrics and the sentiment, especially the
pharma play on word. Nice work. oh, the harmonica - seems out of place
and piercing.

...reminds me of the album "relics" from pink floyd.

Your producing skills is very good. The recording has an atmosphere or feel to it that keeps the serious content alive through the song.

One more for my JOAN collection in iTunes:)

Thanks

Pretty good mix here. Sometimes the vocals are lost, but rarely, i think
due to the effect. Good song theme, keeps the energy throughout with
the background styles.

tragic, wounded &mdash 05/26/06 - 09:38:53 PM
this is an affecting song... tragic... great mood. Love the added synth and digital effects... great ending, too.

(I'm still working on my first Fleshy JOAN Nutz tune, by the way... about 2/3 the way done... don't give up hope!)

THEY ARE KILLING US JOAN LITTLE BY LITTLE &mdash 06/08/06 - 09:09:32 AM
Day by day. And I look around at the souls that are dying everywhere
and it makes me want to throw up. Pressing the accelerator. If i could
make a video of your song, I'd shoot it at a gas station and everyone
filling up their steriod vehicles would realize they were filling up on
blood instead of gasoline. DownNLoaD PLAY LOUD.

With ya &mdash 08/14/06 - 01:23:04 AM
This does have an old-school Floyd sound to it that I really like. It also
has that Joan sound that I really like. It reaches in deep with such a
somber, staggering angst that it quite stirring in it's simplicity and and
focussed emotion. Yeah, I really like it.

That said, and you guys know I dig ya greatly, you putting that whole
article in the Keywords basically trashes the whole keyword system on
MJ. Would you please take it out of the keywords and just put it in the
description area. Besides, with no line breaks or paragraphs it's really
difficult to read. I think I remember reading the article when it first
came out.

Rock ON!! And keep up the fight!
