Description:
A jagged little rock song that's at war with the world....

Lyrics:
tear the mother
take her fluids out
learn how to drown
sold without a doubt

yeah like the pirating of old
plunder and make off with the gold

hail the giants
who steal the good ideas
lets stick with the spills
cause this will pay the bills

yeah like the pirating of old
plunder and make off with the gold

how are you??
working for the slaving something
how are you??

how are you??
working for the slaving something
how are you??
why are you??
wasting till you die
why are you??
wasting till you die

Cool tune. I appreciate how it kicks in right away and doesn't quit. I
enjoyed contrast between the gritty guitar and bass sounds with the
tightness of the tune.

Good vocals. Could have been up in the mix a bit for my taste. I thought
the lyrics seemed a bit hurried during the verses, coming in a bit before
the beat. Might have been tighter if you put more space between the lines
and waited for the next measure with each line.

I could hear this on the radio for sure.

Reaching my soft spots &mdash 05/26/06 - 08:02:07 AM
This is great! You're making a 7/4 riff sound easy and natural and a
group of 8 sound somewhat odd and unusual. Great stuff! Love it!
Other than that, lots of energy in the riffs, great sound and nicely
polished all round. Great work!

It just plain rocks... all your stuff does... I'm digging on the choice of guitar chords in this one... crazy! I'm needing to take some "cool" lessons from you... Can I barrow your vocals too?

Another really solid song from you. I think the lead guitar is especially
strong on this. I could see the lead vocals coming up in the mix, but
can see why you have them where they are, too.

Great ending, as well.

Down tuned? Great song, excellent guitars. Vocals a bit low. Great lyrics. In my iPod.

great &mdash 05/26/06 - 05:54:51 PM
i like how you have the vocals mixed. at first i was thinking they could be louder, but then i like them like this, it sets a mood to the song. and almost has a dark quality to it. very heavy. nice lyrics. sounds rather professional sounding to me.

Very good &mdash 05/26/06 - 09:37:00 PM
Very good again. Sounds awesome. To me in my speakers and
headphones, the lyrics are almost too quiet, but maybe not to everyone
else. Sweet guitar

This is excellent - and I bet it kicks more ass live.

excellent, rocking tune. I agree with Mungo, this would kick ass live, either listening or playing it. I really like the changing meters, very smoothly played.

till i read rolling stone announce your album going platinum. you guys
have such a great craft for this. your gtr's always leave me stunned,
and the energy is hyperdrive. the vocal is outstanding, as it sounds
completely fresh to me. the taking of a simple riff (as done hear) and
making such a punchy, edgy song always delights me.
