Description:
I wrote this song for my daughter, exoria. She was afraid of thunder, and this was my lullaby to her.

This was recorded on a 4-track, way before I had any experience....

Lyrics:
It’s rainin’ outside
And I don’t wanna hide
From the lightning and thunder
A magnificent wonder
It’s rainin’ outside

It’s pouring out here
And I don’t have a fear
So come on out
And dance all about
It’s pouring out here

Rain is like, ridin’ a bike
You never get tired
of spinning them tires
Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain

Rain drops fallin’
On my eyelashes
I love the way
A puddle splashes

In the rain…..

Those 4-tracks are hard to do. Good job on this one. Pretty cool little
tune.

You played this for me when you came to visit... We recorded you playing it on the camcorder, remember? I really liked it then, and now. Your sisters like it too :-)

I love you,

Dad

This is my fav! &mdash 05/31/06 - 06:43:00 AM
Great job... just the guitar and your voice. That takes a lot of practice to
play clean like that. Vocals are right on, you have a really good voice and
it hints a bit of a Texan accent. I really enjoyed the guitar playing. Kudos
on the chord choices. I didn't know you could play the guitar and like that
on top of it... Can't wait to hear some more of your stuff with your drums
too. Thanks for sharing.

sometimes we forget what music is for... I love that you used this to
communicate with your daughter... not to mention that it is well played
and fun to listen to

Nice solid song, fun upbeat lyrics to keep the kid in us all smiling, good playing & singing! Hope she's growing to enjoy the rain, especially if she's living in Florida! :-)

Fun song, mission accomplished complete with toe-tap in the recording. Now that you are a star perhaps she'll be less afraid of the rain. Thanks for sharing.
