It is indeed a thrill to connect musically with other players around the world.
It's a perfect fix for us jamaholics. We'll have to hook up one of these days
too.
The Procol Harem nod wasn't something I had thought of but yes, I certainlly
hear it. I probably didn't notice it because I was so blown away but what Einar
brought to the song. One of my most incredible experiences at MacJams will
always be the first time I opened what he sent me and that keyboard jumped
into the mix. It quite literally was a jaw-dropping moment and "whoa, that's
exactly what I was hoping for."
And what you say about being "in the studio together" is in a sense very true.
It's a virtual studio, granted, but I've come to a point where I start to think my
tunes just aren't sounding quite right without Neil's bassline on them.
Similarlly, I've had, and still have a few more, tunes where I hear tiler,
Schletts, Zetes, Bouchard, Katch, many others, playing along even before
they've ever known the tune exists.
And what can I say about Jack? Dude, if we'd hooked up 30 years ago . . .

The keyboard connects to Procol Harum in a way. Suited drums to this rolling kind of groove. It's cool and laidback. The bridge with Dadai makes it complete. Good songwriting and arrangements.
It's a thrill to be able to send parts of songs around the world and put the bits and pieces together to something that sounds as if you've been in the studio together.
Bravo!
